Software Development Project Head

Summary

‍We are seeking a strategic and experienced Software Development Project Manager Head to lead and oversee all software development initiatives across our organization. This role is responsible for managing cross-functional teams, defining project scopes and timelines, and ensuring high-quality delivery of internal tools, web applications, and digital systems that support our educational mission.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of software development projects from concept to completion.

Collaborate with developers, designers, and stakeholders to define technical requirements, user needs, and project goals.

Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and task prioritization using agile or hybrid methodologies.

Oversee sprint planning, stand-ups, progress tracking, and status reporting to ensure alignment and accountability.

Create and maintain SOPs, documentation, and workflows for software project management.

Ensure clear communication between technical teams and non-technical departments.

Identify risks, resolve blockers, and ensure projects stay on schedule and within scope.

Support quality assurance, testing processes, and final deployment readiness.

Qualifications:
Proven experience as a software project manager or technical program lead.

Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, agile frameworks, and team collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, ClickUp).

Exceptional organizational and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail.

Familiarity with modern development stacks, web technologies, and version control (Git).

Experience working with remote or cross-functional development teams.

Background in education, SaaS, or mission-driven organizations is a plus.

PMP, Scrum Master, or other project management certifications are a bonus.
